Steven P. Sachs, DDS
Dr. Steven Sachs attended the University of Utah for his Bachelor of Science degree before attending dental school at Creighton University, where he graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1999. He has practiced dentistry in Orem, Utah, since 1999, and opened Sachs Family Dental in 2004.
Dr. Sachs continues his education regularly, studying and training beyond the amount of continuing education courses required in order to perfect his current technique and to learn new procedures to benefit his patients. He has received advanced training in dental implants, laser dentistry, and in providing treatments for soft and hard tissues, root canals, and orthodontics.
Dr. Sachs has 3 children and 2 beautiful grandchildren. He loves to build remote control airplanes, collect old coins and watches, and go four-wheeling and boating. His favorite thing by far, however, is spending time with his family.
Meet Our Team
Gaelene - Executive Assistant
Gaelene became a valued member of the Sachs Family Dental team in February 2022. With an impressive 33-year career in the dental field, her journey has encompassed roles ranging from dental assisting to teaching dental assisting. She has also gained invaluable experience in dental labs before transitioning back to a dental office, where she now serves as an adept office manager. This diverse background has equipped her with extensive knowledge of dental treatments, as well as comprehensive expertise in dental insurance and billing. Outside of her professional life, Gaelene is a devoted wife and mother to two daughters. She welcomed two adorable grandchildren into her life, born just a day apart in July 2023. Gaelene's passion for the outdoors is undeniable, as she relishes activities like hiking, mountain biking, camping, and snow skiing.
Olivia - Dental Assistant
Olivia became a part of our team in June 2021. She is currently a student at Utah Valley University aspiring to become a dentist. Olivia’s primary focus is on providing excellent care to our patients, helping with their questions, and ensuring their comfort during treatment. She takes great joy in bringing smiles to our patients’ faces and finds Sachs Family Dental to be the perfect place to do just that. As the younger of two siblings. Olivia has a deep passion for the outdoors, indulging in activities such as camping, ATV riding, boating and snowmobiling. She also cherishes moments spent with her family and friends and loves traveling with them even more!
Cielo - Dental Assistant
Cielo joined our practice in 2023 and has quickly become an integral part of our team. One of her unique contributions is her ability to speak Spanish, which allows her to connect with and assist a broader range of patients. Currently attending Utah Valley University, Cielo is dedicated to ensuring that patients feel cared for and at ease during their procedures. Whether answering questions or helping patients relax, she is committed to creating a positive and comforting experience. She especially values the fun, welcoming environment at our practice and the meaningful friendships she’s built along the way. The fourth of six children, Cielo cherishes spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys watching movies, exploring the outdoors, learning new things, and embracing life’s simple pleasures.
Jessica - Registered Dental Hygienist
Jessica became a valued member of our team in early 2018. She holds a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene and a Local Anesthesia Certification. As a dedicated hygienist, Jessica’s favorite aspect of her role is connecting with new patients and helping them achieve and maintain optimal oral health. She finds great fulfillment in ensuring that every patient has a positive and enjoyable experience during their dental visits. The only girl among five siblings, Jessica is married and the proud mother of two children. She loves spending time with her family and embraces both winter and summer activities. In the colder months, she enjoys skiing, while summers are often spent making memories at Seven Peaks.
Kayla – Office Manager
Kayla joined our team in June 2012 after graduating from JATC with her dental assisting certificate. She began her career as a dedicated dental assistant, a role she excelled in for 3 ½ years before expanding her expertise through cross-training with our front office. Kayla’s drive and commitment eventually led her to her current role as office manager. She takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable and ensuring they have a pleasant experience at our practice. The oldest of three siblings, Kayla is married and the proud mother of three children. Her love for animals is evident in her two dogs—a loyal German Shepherd and a playful Black Lab/Border Collie mix. Kayla enjoys spending quality time with her family and embracing the great outdoors. Her favorite pastimes include boating, 4-wheeling, hiking, and camping, activities that reflect her adventurous spirit and love for nature.
